The Artist.

The human figure, as an artistic subject, appeals to me. My work includes figure and portraiture often in the gestural and expressive style. Through use of multiple mediums–oil, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, pen, watercolor and ink–I strive to capture the spirit of the subject. My art is a tribute to black family, black excellence, and our rich history.
